The name "Lotus" holds deep significance and symbolism in both Japanese and Chinese cultures. The lotus flower, known as "蓮" (Lián) in Chinese and "蓮" (Hasu) in Japanese, is renowned for its beauty and purity. Despite growing in muddy waters, it emerges clean and beautiful, symbolizing resilience, rebirth, and enlightenment.

Just as the lotus flower rises above the muck to bloom in pristine beauty, our program is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs overcome challenges and emerge as thriving business leaders. Cohort 5 - March 18 - May 7, 2025
The Lotus Business Readiness Program™ is an 8-week incubator tailored for purpose-driven entrepreneurs who aim to create businesses that deliver both economic and social impact. Through this program, participants gain the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to build sustainable ventures that strengthen their local communities and beyond.
Each cohort is limited to 25 participants to ensure personalized support and a collaborative learning environment. Cohorts run twice yearly (Spring and Fall). Participants receive access to a comprehensive workbook, weekly Zoom classes, in-person workshops, and one-on-one guidance to develop and launch their businesses in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Requirement:
A resident of Texas (Bexar/Comal/Hays County)
Able to complete an application to determine your eligibility
Committed to program policies (attendance, progress tracking, and sharing outcomes for long-term impact measurement)
A current or aspiring entrepreneur with a passion for building a socially conscious business in San Antonio or surrounding areas
Cost:
$199 for 8-week in-person attendance (scholarships available). 50% off for active duty and veterans.
