We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Volunteer Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing relationships within our community, fostering volunteer engagement, and supporting our mission to empower and support a thriving small business ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Volunteer Recruitment and Retention:

   • Develop and implement effective volunteer recruitment strategies to attract diverse community members.

   • Conduct volunteer orientations and training sessions to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their roles.

   • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment to retain and engage volunteers.

2. Community Outreach and Engagement:

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to promote volunteer opportunities.

   • Represent Emerge and Rise™ at community events, fairs, and meetings to increase visibility and engagement.

   • Develop and execute community engagement initiatives to support our programs and mission.

3. Program Support:

   • Collaborate with program managers to identify volunteer needs and align volunteer efforts with organizational goals.

   • Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments, ensuring optimal use of volunteer skills and availability.

   • Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance, providing feedback and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Passion for community engagement and a commitment to the mission of Emerge and Rise™.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of people.

• Experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
