Terms & Conditions – Small Business 911 Project & Service Grant
1. Eligibility
Participation in the Small Business 911 Project is limited to businesses located in San Antonio or one of the surrounding counties (Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Wilson, Medina, or Kendall). Eligible businesses must have at least $100,000 in annual revenue and one or more W-2 employees, not including the owner. Sole proprietorships are not eligible. Only businesses that complete the Small Business 911 Checkup assessment will be considered for participation.
2. Confidentiality
All information shared with Small Business 911 is confidential and will be used solely to assess business needs and provide resources. Information will not be sold or disclosed outside of Small Business 911 or its trusted resource partners without prior consent.
3. Nature of the Grant
The Small Business 911 Service Grant is a service-based award valued at approximately $5,000. No direct monetary funds are provided. The grant consists of membership, consulting, and expert sessions as outlined in program materials, subject to availability. Small Business 911 may adjust or substitute services at its discretion, and no specific outcome is guaranteed.
4. Limitations of Liability
Participation in the Small Business 911 Project or Service Grant does not ensure business growth, funding, or financial results. Outcomes depend on the business owner’s active engagement, decision-making, and implementation. All consulting is advisory in nature, and participants are responsible for obtaining their own legal, tax, or financial counsel where appropriate. Small Business 911 and its partners disclaim liability for business performance, financial loss, or legal obligations arising from participation.
5. Communications & Consent
By submitting the Small Business 911 Checkup form, participants consent to being contacted by email, phone, and/or SMS for scheduling and follow-up communications. Participants may also choose to receive updates, newsletters, or additional opportunities from Small Business 911 and Emerge and Rise.
6. Grant Recipient Obligations
Grant recipients may be asked to provide progress updates or participate in program evaluations. With consent, recipients may also be featured in marketing or promotional materials to demonstrate program impact.
7. Media & Publicity
By participating in the Small Business 911 Project or Service Grant, participants acknowledge and agree that their business name, logo, and story may be shared in media, press releases, newsletters, and on social media platforms to highlight program outcomes. This may include both successes and challenges experienced during the program. Small Business 911 will make reasonable efforts to obtain approval before publishing sensitive details, but participants consent to general recognition and program-related publicity.
8. Modifications
Small Business 911 reserves the right to modify or terminate the project, grant, or these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the most current version of these Terms & Conditions.
